Our Team
I am Air Commodore Khalid Chishti (Retd.), having served the Pakistan Air Force as a fighter pilot for 35 years. During my service, I was honored with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military)- (Star of Excellence) and Sitara-i-Basalat (Star of Valour) by the Government of Pakistan. My journey of inspiration began in 2003 when I spent a year in Istanbul Turkey, for a military course. During my time there, I was deeply moved by the Turkish people’s profound admiration and respect for their national hero, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. This experience ignited within me a desire to revive the legacy of our own national hero, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Upon my return in 2004, I embraced this cause as a national duty. Recognizing that we are all beneficiaries of Jinnah’s vision and sacrifices, I took on the challenge of rekindling the national spirit and fostering a deeper understanding of Quaid-e-Azam among today’s youth. To achieve this, I conducted extensive research on his life and personality. Over the next seven years, I meticulously collected over 450 high-resolution, rare portraits of Quaid-e-Azam, believing that the younger generation would connect more profoundly with a near-real visual representation of our founding father.
Many of these portraits were in poor condition, presenting the first challenge: to restore and preserve them to their original state. Over the following three years, I utilized advanced computer software to painstakingly transform these images into color, breathing new life into them. Alongside this, I compiled dozens of anecdotes from Quaid-e-Azam’s life, highlighting his remarkable selflessness and unwavering devotion—stories that not only inspire but also serve as guiding principles for our youth.
These colorized images were then integrated with Quaid-e-Azam’s quotes, tributes from world leaders, and narratives about his life. I also created over 300 vibrant posters with the aim of making the viewing experience more engaging for young minds. In honor of Quaid-e-Azam, I launched a dedicated website to showcase these efforts. Additionally, I am currently delivering lectures at the national level & international level, sharing the “Unseen and Untold of Mr. Jinnah” without any remuneration, driven solely by my commitment to preserving his legacy.
